You're not alone

I'm a firm believer in blogs. Yes, I'm guilty of spending countless moments checking my favorite blogs' daily posts finding them more informative than the average website. Many writers inspire me and appear to speak directly to MY interests or MY struggles. Although it sounds silly, I'm not ashamed to admit that I feel as if each writer is my best friend. I build a relationship with them through their posts eventually trusting their opinion and the material they're sharing as true. I follow interior decorators, doctors, restaurants, personal trainers, mothers, gardeners... All of which I chose because they share my voice.

If you have participated in one of my weekly parenting seminars then you may be familiar with the blog I will share today. Tammy, Kelly, Kay, Melissa, Pamela, Adrienne, and Penny, all mothers of children with ADHD, started a blog for all those involved with ADHD. It is easy to feel close to them as they share their intimate account of the struggles and joys of parenting ADHD children. Enjoy!

Impression of Hope

Before deciding on the very first post, my mind naturally wavered on what I should share. First impressions mean everything - What imprint did I want to leave? As quickly as I began to ponder this question I knew the answer. When I treat patients and their parents one thing is very clear. You can see it in their tearful eyes. You can hear it in their desperate voices. They are exhausted, hopeless, worried, and broken. It is my aspiration to grant you a post that gives you hope. The most important line of this personal testimony deserves special attention – “Don't ever let go, your child's bright future is on the other end.” You can exhale now…everything will be okay.
